Delta Gamma at Kent State University is all about doing good. Our national philanthropy benefits Service for Sight. Service for Sight supports the four schools founded by Delta Gamma for the visually impaired and other organizations that promote sight preservation and provide assistance to children and adults who are blind and visually impaired. We work with the local Kent Lions Club to raise awareness about sight conservation. This past year we raised over $18,000 for Service for Sight in the fall at our first ever Anchor Freeze. We are so proud of our achievements and our dedication to service. This year, we were lucky enough to give out 74 bids, and initiate 67 new members! We now currently have over 160 collegiate members, making us one of the largest sororities on campus. We are fun loving girls who appreciate the bonds of sisterhood. This blog is an attempt to help bridge the gap between collegians, alumnae, and parents. Delta Gamma is not just a Sunday meeting, we are a group of women who have established a lifestyle based on the bonds of sisterhood. Enjoy!
