“Studying abroad is the best way to open your mind to new cultures, and discover more about yourself. I’ve been living and studying in Florence, Italy since January 6, and I cannot believe what an amazing semester it has been so far. My professors here have taught me to think freely, learn through experience, and be open to any person or opinion that may cross your path.
Of course, studying abroad involves more than just studying. I’ve traveled to Paris and cities all over Italy, including Venice, Pisa, and Rome. For the rest of the semester, I will be traveling all over Europe, and doing some studying, too!
Most importantly, I would not be here without my wonderful Delta Gamma sisters! Two of my roommates from last semester, Carrie and Bri, and I decided to take on this journey together, and I would not have had it any other way. Being in Florence with my sisters has brought us all closer together, and it is comforting to know they are always here for me. Traveling across the world is easier with friends and sisters by your side!”
